we’ve got something that works for you.
Leisure Centre Support
- Our leisure centres offer a variety of services, including qualified fitness instructors to guide you through your fitness journey. We also provide supportive group exercise classes, designed to help you stay motivated while improving your health in a welcoming environment. Additionally, we offer adult swim lessons for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your technique

LiveWell
- Live Well has supported thousands of people living in Leicester to quit smoking for good, get fit, lose weight, and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
- Their free programmes are available to people living in Leicester with a registered Leicester postcode from as young as 12 years old. All our advisors are highly qualified and motivated to support and guide anyone who comes through to Live Well to achieve their ultimate goal whatever that maybe.

Worksops
- Throughout the year, Active Leicester run a variety of workshops at our seven leisure centres. These workshops focus on different areas of physical activity and fitness, including gym-focused sessions, running workshops, and more. Check our centres and social media for the latest schedule, and take the opportunity to learn new skills and improve your fitness.

Outdoor Gyms
- Located across the city, our outdoor gyms are free to access and provide the perfect way to get moving in the open air. With clear instructions on how to use the equipment, they offer a convenient and accessible way to stay active wherever you are.

- Taking up running can seem like a scary prospect, especially if you feel out of shape or unfit.
- NHS Couch to 5K will help you gradually work up towards running 5km in just 9 weeks

Better Health
- Healthy changes start with little changes. Whether you want to lose weight, drink less alcohol, get active or quit smoking, you have access to lots of free tools and support through Better Health. You can also find simple ways to lift your mood with Every Mind Matters.

Active 10 App
- The Active 10 app anonymously records every minute of walking you do. Just pop your phone in your pocket and away you go!
